BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT

PEAK CINEMA#4: BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT (2008)

"You either die a hero or you live enough to see yourself become the villain..."

After the events of Batman Begins (2005) the menace known as Joker wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, Batman must accept one of the greatest phsycological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice.

Some of the most memorable quotes from the movie:

"Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It's fair!"

- The Joker, 'The Dark Knight'.

"I believe that whatever doesn't kill you, simply makes you... stranger."

- The Joker, 'The Dark Knight'.

"You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other."

Why do I think this is PEAK CINEMA?

- The character development throughout the movie is just insanely good written. We see Batman taken to it´s limits while delivering one fo the best, if not the best, interpretations of a villian on the big screen. Christian Bale and Heath Ledger crashed and made one of the best duo in fiction history. With just that I would call it the best superheroe adaptation of all time, but I could add even more with the beautiful cinematography, OST, incredibly good practical and CGI effects, and many more things. The Dark Knight will forever be remembrered for being...PEAK CINEMA.
