Why do I think this is PEAK CINEMA?

- When this movie came out people was worried, including me. Making a standalone movie of the most iconic villian of all time wasn´t light talking. For our surprise, it was a masterpiece. Starting with the spectacular performance of Phoenix, which is in my opnion, one of the best psycho interpretations in history. The way the movie takes its time for you to feel compassion for a murderer is just insane. The co-stars make this even better, with Robert de Niro for example, which really makes you relate true events and society with the movie. Cinematography, camera angles and changes, all work together to deliver something truly unique. When the movie is over, you don´t know how to feel, because you now question who is responsible of evil in life, and how society categorizes what is okay and what is not. This phsycological journey that you experience in just two hours is a cinematograhpy gem, and I will never doubt that it is absolutely...PEAK CINEMA.
